“ALL COMMUNICATION MUST LEAD TO CHANGE”
- ARISTOTLE
CLIENT SUCCESS

Before I started working with Vanessa and her team I felt overwhelmed by standing and speaking in front of a big group. I had no clarity and direction. Vanessa helped me think clearly and find my voice without putting words in my mouth. Her guidance around my performance made all the difference. Made me feel comfortable in my skin when I was in the spotlight. I feel calm when I present now and I know I can get the result I want from my audience.

I’m in a leadership role and that means standing up and speaking in front of colleagues and clients. It’s felt pretty daunting in the past but since working with Vanessa I feel so much more confident. I recently presented to 300 fellow managers and the feedback I got was really positive. We’ve been going through a lot of change in the company and communicating change to colleagues can be challenging. Vanessa has helped me change their minds and persuade them of the value of doing things in a new way. With her techniques I now know I can speak powerfully & persuasively no matter what the subject or audience. I’ll take these skills with me throughout my career.

I was doing a lot of training work and relying heavily on PowerPoint, frankly it became a bit of a crutch. Since taking Vanessa’s approach I’m able to ditch probably 90% of my slides and yet my training is much more engaging and entertaining for people. They’re learning a lot more and taking more away with them. It’s boosted my confidence, I’m able to retain more of my points in my head, rather than having to rely on reading off the screen. Vanessa’s struggled with presentation nerves in the past and knowing that she overcame it really inspired me to do the same.

Vanessa helped me overcome my public speaking anxiety, clarify the message that had me feeling overwhelmed, and ultimately present a lecture that left participants talking long after it had ended. I was so sure of the material that I wasn’t even nervous. I was amazed by how natural I felt in front of an audience. My peers had extremely positive feedback: many people wanted to keep talking with me afterward. Some said it was the best presentation they had attended at the conference. The experience gave me a shot of confidence in my own work and career.
